Facing Infertility issues? Read for the solution.

Hi baby!
In a country where the population is the largest in the world, it is incredible that infertility is associated with a mass of negatives.  Apart from stares, whispered snide remarks and tacit disapproval, the woman is blamed for incapacity – epithets used for infertile land, are amongst the kindest insults hurled at her.
The sole purpose of a family is to have children and shortly after marriage, the social pressure put on a young couple can build up gradually. It is vital that the genes and DNA of the family be carried along the generations. Given the threadbare fabric of our male dominated society, it becomes necessary to have a child . . . at least one, if not more. To carry on the family name, to be a prop in one’s old age – numerous are the reasons for having a child.
Science has made rapid advances and now, with a little help from doctors, a baby can be born as ‘a gift of God’ aided by medical science. One fairly successful method is IUI, [intra uterine insemination] .The     general idea is to separate sperm; the fast moving from the dull sperm which don’t go places, hence no babies. This is done under the controlled conditions of a laboratory. In the middle of the monthly cycle, when the egg is released from the womb, the active sperm are placed in the womb of the woman.
Doctors usually recommend IUI when infertility exists for no specific reason, problems in ovulation, the man suffers from pre-mature ejaculation or is impotent - or if a woman wants to have a baby without a man.
Healthy fallopian tubes
The woman’s fallopian tubes must be open and healthy. A tubular patency test is conducted to check the health of the fallopian tubes and the pelvis. This can be done both by a dye test and a laparoscopy.
In dye test, Dye is injected in to the uterine cavity to outline the tubes this procedure is called HSG or if done through Saline injection is called SSG.
In a laparoscopy, a telescope gives a clear view of the inside of the pelvis. When the tubes are clear, then a dye is passed through the tubes. It should pass clearly with no adhesions in the tubes. Adhesions prevent the sperm from having access to the ovary. This is conducted under general anesthesia.
In case only one fallopian tube is open, then IUI is effective when ovulation is about to happen on the same side as the open tube. It is also essential that there is no problem in the quality and number of sperms.

Now that Mom and Dad are ready, let’s wait for the baby to emerge!
